This is just like our in-person consultations, but we do it on a video call, where we can share screens and cameras. We can then have follow-up email exchanges, as needed.
I find that a one-hour art consultation is a great way to kickstart my clients’ personal art placement projects. This is one of the interior design elements that is most important yet most often overwhelms clients. From art purchasing, to framing, to hanging, this short and effective consultation is a helpful solution.
Based on your personal requirements, space and personal taste, I will make suggestions on:
- WHAT KIND OF ART you (or we) should shop for in terms of size, color, style, and medium. It’s important to have a harmonious mix of sizes and mediums, whether you like a riot of color, a completely monochromatic look, or somewhere in between; whether you prefer large modern paintings, gallery walls full of traditional oil paintings, or any transitional combination that meets in the middle.
- WHERE TO BUY original art online and, if needed, where to buy great reproductions. Art does not have to be “fancy” or expensive for it to transform your walls and rooms in a beautiful way.
- WHERE TO PLACE ART. It’s important to have different types of installations throughout your home. I like some single large paintings as well as groups of smaller paintings, and they should all be properly proportioned to the available space and hung at the correct height.
Note: For virtual appointments we will need photos and dimensions prior to the appointment. Please contact us and we can provide a detailed list of required information.
For in-person art consultations, we primarily serve the South Bay of Los Angeles, from Palos Verdes to Manhattan Beach, but can travel further, as needed, and are available for residential or commercial projects. Please contact us to set up either type of appointment.
Please also visit our art shop on Chairish for some amazing and unique original vintage paintings.
