For a lovely family in the South Bay of Los Angeles, I designed a home with accents of bright and punchy colors. Their taste leans towards a casual chic look, so we chose furniture and fabrics that are refined yet comfortable, with patterns and finishing touches that contribute to a worldly and bohemian atmosphere. {read more below}

This is one of those houses that makes me love doing interior design in the South Bay. The drive up the hill through windy streets filled with peacocks and ending in a 180 degree ocean view from much of the house makes this a destination I always look forward to visiting. To match the clients’ personalities and lifestyle, I created a warm and welcoming environment. We used some of their basic pieces, such as neutral sofas and club chairs, and made it come to life with pillows, accessories, art, plants and some new, soft wool carpets. It looks finished and pulled-together, but also feels like you can be comfortable anywhere you choose to relax.
