I just finished a blog post about Shopping on Abbot Kinney for Home Decor, in Venice, California, and while I was at it I saw so many inspiring works of art on the street that I decided to do a whole separate post. I love that this area has such a vibrant art community. As I mentioned in my last post, this is my favorite street in Los Angeles.
Here are a few incredible murals by various talented artists painted on the sides of buildings (and one sidewalk):

Below, I’m looking for the name of this artist. Please contact me if you know it!

I saw this great vignette from the street, and since I’m kind of obsessed with gallery walls it drew me in to this beautiful clothing boutique, Cuyana. I love that they use this kind of display to highlight the latest shots from their marketing campaigns.
I also came across this men’s store, Suitsupply, with the most adorable patio in front. The multi-striped pillow story is so right up my alley, and I love the mirrors too. Sadly, they are not for sale, but it was an inspiring little spot to spot.
If you’ve never walked up and down Abbot Kinney I highly recommend it. There are very, very few chain stores, and it’s always an interesting and eclectic mix of cool bars, restaurants, clothing boutiques, home decor boutiques and coffee shops.
